Accounting majors take courses on income tax, cost accounting, and auditing and may select elective courses like corporate income tax, governmental and non-profit accounting, and international accounting.
During their time at Lindenwood, accounting majors have the opportunity to gain real world experience through the VITA Tax Clinic. This free service allows community members from the local area, including some students, to bring in their tax documents and have accounting students file their tax return with the oversight of an accounting professor.
