In an effort to preserve the memories of 51¸£ÀûÉç's long and eventful history, former Lindenwood librarian, Mary E. Ambler (Class of 1930) established the University Archives in 1975. The Archives can be found at the Library and Academic Resources Center.
Mission Statement:
In 1832, 51¸£ÀûÉç was founded in an effort to train the daughters of our nation's pioneers. Since that time, Lindenwood has experienced a change that has reflected the culture of the Midwestern United States, always with the intention of helping young men and women acquire the skills to become useful citizens. The primary goal of the Mary E. Ambler Archives is to be a tool that Lindenwood faculty and students will find useful in the research of institutional and regional topics. The Archives intends to make its resources available in the future to Missourians and researchers abroad, by making content accessible through digitization.
