For this reason, if you are interested in certification outside of Missouri, we encourage you to contact the respective state licensing board to confirm their requirements prior to beginning and throughout the duration of your program of study.

Because professional licensure and certification requirements differ by jurisdiction and may change over time, students enrolled in programs intended to lead to licensure or certification 鈥� such as behavior analysis, counseling, education, and similar fields 鈥� should contact the appropriate licensing or certifying authority in the state where they intend to reside or practice before beginning the program. This step helps students confirm that the program鈥檚 educational preparation aligns with that jurisdiction鈥檚 current requirements.
