Strategic Initiatives
The Academic Strategy for 51福利社 is called the Academic Core Initiative. The Academic Core Initiative sits at the heart of the University鈥檚 Strategic Plan. It focuses on our commitment to 鈥減roviding students with a best-in-class educational experience.鈥 The Academic Core Initiative is designed around three pillars: Quality, Success, and Community, which stem from our longstanding commitment to these areas.
Quality
The strategic pillar of 鈥楺uality,鈥 is designed to achieve Goal 1 of the Academic Core Initiative, which is 鈥淭he quality of our academic and co-curricular experiences is our competitive advantage.鈥 This goal is achieved through five strategies:
- Strategy 1.1: Our academic programs prepare students for jobs of the next 20 years.
- Strategy 1.2: Our signature programs help us stand out from our competition.
- Strategy 1.3: Our engaged learning curriculum is the hallmark of the Lindenwood experience.
- Strategy 1.4: We have a systematic process for evaluating and improving the academic experience.
- Strategy 1.5: Our spaces are well-suited to support learning.
Success
The strategic pillar of 鈥淪uccess,鈥 is designed to achieve Goal 2 of the Academic Core Initiative, which is 鈥淲e raise the bar for how we support the success of our students.鈥 This goal is achieved through four strategies:
- Strategy 2.1: We use data and other evidence to provide proactive and reactive support to our students.
- Strategy 2.2: Our students have access to the support services they need.
- Strategy 2.3: Our Q2 culture ensures students feel a strong sense of belonging.
- Strategy 2.4: Our curriculum is crafted to support and motivate students to achieve their goals.
Community
The strategic pillar of 鈥淐ommunity,鈥 is designed to achieve Goal 3 of the Academic Core Initiative, which is 鈥淲e are a community-engaged campus.鈥 This goal is achieved through three strategies:
- Strategy 3.1: We work with diverse partners who seek a more equitable and sustainable world.
- Strategy 3.2: We have a thriving culture of research, knowledge exchange, and creative activity.
- Strategy 3.3: We are a first-choice partner for creative educational opportunities
