All Human Culture and Society programs develop the skills that employers want in their 21st century workforce. Our courses provide the opportunity to hone your ability to work with diverse teams, think critically, innovate, and communicate logically and engagingly. The Department of Human Culture and Society offer a variety of courses of study allowing you to accumulate the credentials to document your skills and ability.

Though the聽Geospatial Intelligence and Sustainability program, students learn to collect, analyze, and visualize geographic data while exploring topics such as sustainability, international security, public history, and public health.
Though personalized mentorship and rigorous course work the聽History program聽prepares graduates to apply historical perspective and research to modern challenges.
Through an interdisciplinary curriculum in the聽Philosophy, Politics, and Economics program, students learn how governments, markets, and societies interact while developing the analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills valued across a wide range of industries.
